Develop personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive dental diagnosis and patient needs while explaining procedures clearly to patients. Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe clinical environment. Utilize dental software (Open Dental) for accurate medical documentation, scheduling, billing, and maintaining detailed medical records. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Stay informed about current healthcare regulations including HIPAA compliance and state-specific healthcare laws to ensure legal and ethical practice standards are met. Requirements Valid state dental license with current certification to practice dentistry. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient care delivery. Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health. Skills in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), orthodontics (braces or aligners), oral surgery, endodontics, and implant procedures. Strong understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques within a clinical setting. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages including pediatrics; experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare guidelines governing medical documentation and patient privacy. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and compassionately. Prior experience working in a dental office or clinic environment is preferred; familiarity with medical imaging technology is advantageous.
