Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging using advanced tools such as digital X-rays and medical imaging technology. Develop personalized treatment plans based on accurate dental diagnosis and patient needs while explaining procedures clearly to ensure informed consent. Maintain precise medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws. Utilize dental software systems such as Softdent for scheduling, charting, billing, and record management to streamline workflow. Apply infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination during procedures. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during treatments. Ensure adherence to all healthcare diagnosis standards, dental terminology accuracy, and client communication best practices for optimal patient care. Requirements Valid state licensure as a licensed Dentist with current certification to practice dentistry in the respective region. Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with proficiency in dental office software like Softdent. Strong knowledge of general dentistry procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Familiarity with medical terminology and medical documentation standards necessary for comprehensive patient records management. Ability to perform dental fabrication tasks and utilize medical imaging equipment effectively. Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a sterile environment. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and compassionately. Understanding of HIPAA regulations along with state healthcare laws governing medical records and patient privacy. Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus; additional certifications in anesthesiology or pediatric dentistry are advantageous but not required. Compensation This will largely be production based. It'll be a combination of production and collections. More specific details to be discussed during interviews.
