- Weekend Coverage Orange County | San Diego County | San Bernardino County, CA We are seeking experienced and dependable PRN Dentists to join our emergency dental network and provide as-needed weekend coverage at our Southern California locations.
This is an excellent opportunity for dentists looking to supplement their existing schedule, pick up occasional weekend shifts, or work within an emergency dental environment without committing to a regular weekly schedule. Coverage Areas PRN opportunities may be available throughout: Orange County San Diego County San Bernardino County , including Apple Valley and Upland Providers may choose to accept available shifts based on their schedule and preferred travel area. There is no requirement to be available every weekend or to cover every location. About the Practice Our offices focus on emergency and same-day dentistry , with patients seeking care for dental pain, infections, broken teeth, failed restorations, and other urgent dental needs. Our goal is to provide patients with definitive treatment whenever clinically appropriate rather than simply referring them elsewhere. PRN doctors are supported by an experienced dental team and established emergency-office workflows, allowing providers to focus primarily on patient care and treatment. Common Procedures Depending on provider experience and comfort level, procedures may include: Emergency exams and diagnosis Simple and surgical extractions Restorative dentistry Crown preparations Root canal therapy Open and medicate procedures Incision and drainage Treatment of dental infections and acute pain Other general and emergency dental procedures Experience with molar endodontics, surgical extractions, and simple bone grafting is highly valued but not required for every provider. Schedule PRN / As-Needed Weekend Coverage Our offices primarily operate on Saturdays and Sundays . Available shifts are communicated to our PRN provider network, and doctors can accept coverage based on their individual availability. This position is ideal for dentists who: Have an existing weekday position and want additional weekend income Prefer occasional or flexible shifts rather than a fixed schedule Want the ability to work at multiple Southern California locations Enjoy emergency and same-day dentistry Are comfortable working independently while supported by an experienced clinical team Qualifications DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school Active California dental license in good standing Current DEA registration, if applicable Current CPR/BLS certification Strong diagnostic and treatment-planning skills Comfortable treating emergency and same-day patients Reliable and professional Ability to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment Compensation Competitive PRN compensation. Our regular provider compensation structure is designed to reward production, with opportunities for doctors who are comfortable performing same-day treatment and comprehensive emergency care.
