The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in general dentistry, with experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery being highly desirable. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing various dental procedures, and ensuring compliance with all health regulations. Your expertise in dental terminology, medical documentation, and infection control will be essential in delivering exceptional service to our patients. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Perform a range of dental procedures including general dentistry, endodontics (root canal therapy), prosthodontics, and dental extractions. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure the highest standards of infection control and aseptic technique are adhered to within the clinic. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care. Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques, including the use of software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix. Requirements Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited institution. Valid dental license to practice in the state. Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not mandatory. Proficient knowledge of dental terminology and medical terminology related to patient care. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment. Strong understanding of anatomy as it relates to dentistry. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly advantageous.
