Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history review, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging using medical imaging technology Diagnose dental conditions accurately using dental terminology and healthcare diagnosis principles, ensuring proper treatment planning Utilize electronic health record systems such as Eaglesoft, Dexis to document patient information, treatment plans, and medical records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures such as oral surgery and endodontics Communicate clearly with patients about treatment options, procedures, and post-treatment care to foster trust and understanding Collaborate with team members on four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort while delivering quality care Qualifications Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA registration if applicable Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental diagnosis, dental fabrication, and client communication Familiarity with dental office software including Eaglesoft and Dexis for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and experience working with pediatric patients is preferred Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge related to oral structures, infection control standards, and HIPAA compliance Skills in performing dental extractions, implant restorations, basic oral surgery procedures, prosthodontics (crowns/bridges), and other advanced treatments Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety Join us to elevate your career as an Associate Dentist where your expertise will directly enhance patient well-being.
