Responsibilities Provide comprehensive periodontal diagnosis and treatment, including surgical and non-surgical therapies Perform implant placement, bone and soft-tissue grafting, and related surgical procedures using modern technology Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with general dentists and specialists within the Sage Dental network Educate patients on periodontal disease, oral-systemic health connections, and long-term maintenance plans Document clinical findings accurately in the practice management/EHR system and comply with clinical protocols Maintain high standards of infection control, safety, and quality assurance Participate in continuing education, case reviews, and internal training to support clinical excellence and growth Contribute to a patient-centered, team-oriented culture across multiple locations, mentoring clinical staff as needed Required Skills Periodontal diagnosis and treatment planning Surgical periodontal therapy (flap surgery, crown lengthening) Dental implant placement and restoration coordination Bone and soft-tissue grafting procedures Use of CBCT and digital imaging systems Local anesthesia and moderate complexity surgical management EHR/practice management software proficiency Infection control and OSHA compliance Patient education and communication Interdisciplinary case collaboration
