Duties Perform a wide range of general dentistry procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics. Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients. Operate and maintain dental equipment and digital imaging systems such as Eaglesoft for efficient patient record keeping. Adhere strictly to infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists in four-handed dentistry practices to optimize workflow and deliver seamless patient care. Document all medical and dental records meticulously, including medical history updates, treatment notes, and procedural documentation in compliance with legal standards. Provide patient education on oral health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to foster long-term oral health. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Dentist with current DEA registration if applicable. 2 YEARS
EXPERIENCE MINIMUM
Proven experience in general dentistry within a clinical or dental office setting; familiarity with dental office experience is preferred. Proficiency with practice management software such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and medical documentation standards. Demonstrated ability to perform diverse procedures . Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work efficiently in four-handed dentistry environments while maintaining high standards of aseptic technique. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws governing medical records management. Willingness to stay current with continuing education requirements .
