Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Endodontist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will focus on diagnosing and treating complex root canal cases, providing exceptional patient care, and ensuring the highest standards of infection control and aseptic technique. Your expertise will help preserve natural teeth and improve patients' oral health while working in a collaborative, state-of-the-art dental environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply advanced endodontic procedures, contribute to comprehensive dental care, and enhance patient outcomes through precise diagnosis and treatment. Duties Perform root canal therapy and other endodontic procedures with precision and efficiency, utilizing modern dental technology and techniques. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop tailored treatment plans that meet individual needs. Utilize dental imaging tools such as medical imaging devices to diagnose complex cases accurately. Maintain detailed medical documentation and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols. Collaborate closely with general dentists, pediatric dentists, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Apply aseptic techniques during all procedures to ensure infection control and patient safety. Educate patients on endodontic procedures, post-treatment care, and preventive practices to promote long-term oral health. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure to practice dentistry with specialization in endodontics. Proven experience in performing root canal therapy, dental extractions, and other endodontic treatments. Proficiency with dental terminology, medical terminology, and dental fabrication techniques. Familiarity with dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of anatomy, infection control protocols, medical imaging technology, and aseptic techniques. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment plans clearly. Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with a focus on pediatric dentistry or general dentistry is a plus.
