Chief Dental Officer Michigan - statewide
Pay:

Founded in 2006, MCDC is committed to providing high-quality dental care to everyone, including those on Medicaid or without insurance across 28 centers in Michigan. You may be a good fit for our Chief Dental Officer role if you are: A strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus. A strategic vision of the dental delivery health care marketplace. A well-organized and self-directed individual who is "politically savvy", "street smart" and a team player. An intelligent and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills. A good educator, who is trustworthy, has strong interpersonal skills and is willing to share information and serve as a mentor. An individual mindful of programs and processes needed to drive Employer sustainability. Successful record of effective communication including, but not limited to, public speaking. Demonstrable experience and a working knowledge of business metrics.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED
A Dental Degree (e.g., Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or equivalent) from an accredited School of Dentistry. 5 years of experience working in a team environment. 3 years of experience in supervisory position managing direct reports. 3 years of experience managing budgets. Willingness to travel, at least 50% travel as needed
PREFERRED
An advanced degree in management (MBA, MPH, MHSA) or equivalent education/certification is preferred. Experience with dental residency program(s) preferred. 6-8 years of similar health care management experience is preferred.
