Job Description

Forum Dental - Laurie seeks a caring General Dentist to provide comprehensive preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and emergency care for patients of all ages in a modern, community-focused practice. Responsibilities include diagnosis and treatment planning, performing a full range of general dentistry procedures, interpreting digital radiographs, and maintaining the highest standards of infection control and clinical quality. You'll collaborate closely with a supportive team, educate patients on oral health, and help deliver compassionate, comfortable care to the Laurie and Lake of the Ozarks community while growing your skills through continuing education and technology-driven dentistry. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive general dentistry, including exams, fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions Develop individualized treatment plans focused on long-term oral health Deliver preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and emergency care to all age groups Interpret digital radiographs and other diagnostics to guide treatment Ensure strict adherence to infection control, safety, and clinical quality standards Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment options, and post-op care Collaborate with hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient patient flow Document clinical findings and treatment in electronic records accurately Participate in case reviews, continuing education, and clinical improvement initiatives Contribute to a friendly, community-oriented, patient-focused practice culture Required Skills General dentistry procedures Oral diagnosis and treatment planning Restorative dentistry (fillings, crowns, bridges) Preventive dentistry and prophylaxis oversight Emergency dental care Simple and surgical extractions Endodontic therapy (root canals) Use of digital radiography and dental technology Infection control and OSHA compliance Patient education and case presentation
