VA Disability Evaluations Pay:
$1,300.00 - $1,400.00 per day

Oxford, Mississippi Setting:
Provider MUST have an established dental office in Mississippi. No clinic space is provided. Help Serve Those Who Served Frontera Search is seeking a licensed Dentist (DDS or DMD) to perform disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans. This is an examination-only position designed for providers looking to supplement their existing practice with a flexible, predictable schedule. This is not a traditional clinical dentistry role. There are no treatment plans, procedures, restorative work, prescribing, or ongoing patient care. Your responsibility is to perform objective dental evaluations, document your findings, and complete standardized VA disability reports that support Veterans' disability claims. The examiner does not determine disability ratings or benefits. All disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Position Details Part-Time Contract Flexible schedule averaging 3 days per week
Clinic Hours:
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Provider performs examinations in their own established Mississippi dental office Provider MUST have an established dental office in Mississippi. No clinic space is provided. In-person evaluations only Adult Veteran patient population No travel required Electronic documentation completed through a secure web-based system Start date based upon credentialing completion What You'll Do Review medical records and supporting documentation before each evaluation Perform one-time dental disability examinations for U.S. Veterans Conduct objective oral and dental examinations Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and Medical Opinions (MOs) electronically during each examination Document findings accurately in the electronic medical record system Submit completed evaluations within required timelines Follow all VA disability examination guidelines and documentation requirements Provide a professional, respectful, and compassionate experience for every Veteran Why Dentists Choose This Opportunity $1,300-$1,400 per day Flexible 3-day-per-week schedule Excellent supplemental income No treatment or restorative dentistry No prescribing medications No follow-up appointments or ongoing patient management No evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities Predictable workflow with minimal administrative burden Dedicated credentialing and recruiter support throughout the assignment Qualifications Required DDS or DMD degree Active Mississippi Dental License Established dental office in Mississippi available for Veteran examinations Strong computer proficiency, including EMR documentation Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills Commitment to providing compassionate, professional care to Veterans Preferred Previous VA Disability Evaluation or Compensation & Pension (C&P) examination experience Experience completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) Experience interpreting dental imaging Experience working independently while meeting documentation deadlines About Frontera Search Frontera Search Partners connects healthcare professionals with meaningful opportunities nationwide.
