F45-18 Announcement Summary This is a continuous recruitment pool not specifically advertised. The pool is continuous in order to develop a qualified pool of interested candidates. We invite applications to be submitted for potential openings. Duties
  • Provide clinical instruction to Dental Hygiene students
  • Responsible for 2 hours of prep time per week and participation in departmental and College functions
  • Work closely with students to ensure academic growth and progression in curriculum
  • Must complete unit in Education Methodology at initiation of employment Minimum Qualifications Must have a minimum of 2 years of current clinical experience.
Must be a Registered Dental Hygienist, a graduate of an ADA-Accredited program, and licensed to practice dental hygiene in North Carolina. Must have completed an Associates degree as a condition of employment. Must have begun and remain current with required immunizations and possess a current CPR card and maintain a current ADHA membership. Must be certified to administer local anesthesia in North Carolina or complete certification within one year of hire. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently within accepted Program and ADA Standards. Preferred Qualifications Teaching experience at the community college or four-year college.
