Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages. Your primary goal will be to ensure the oral health and well-being of our patients while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine dental examinations, including oral cancer screenings and x-rays
• Diagnose and treat various dental conditions, such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay
• Create treatment plans and discuss them with patients to ensure their understanding and consent
• Administer anesthetics to patients as necessary
• Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques
• Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other staff members to provide comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic systems such as Eaglesoft
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile dental office environment
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development

Requirements:

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
• Valid state dental license in good standing
• Proficient in using computer systems for managing medical records and treatment plans
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively explain complex dental procedures to patients of all ages
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
