Bread and Butter Dentistry Full health benefits 5 day work week Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental histories, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging to develop effective treatment plans. Deliver a wide range of dental procedures such as dental restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implants. Utilize dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and treatment planning to ensure accurate medical records and compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Practice four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to OSHA standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Communicate clearly with patients about diagnoses, treatment options, post-treatment care, and preventive strategies to foster trust and understanding. Collaborate with the dental team on case planning, dental fabrication processes, and client communication to deliver seamless care. Stay updated on advances in dentistry by participating in continuing education related to pediatric dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics, and other specialties. Requirements Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA registration if applicable. Proven experience in general dentistry with proficiency in dental diagnosis and treatment planning. Familiarity with dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix for efficient practice management. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and healthcare diagnosis standards. Ability to perform complex procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, orthodontics and oral surgery confidently. Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations along with state healthcare laws governing medical documentation and records management. Experience working in a fast-paced dental office environment or clinic setting is preferred. #LV100
