Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring optimal oral health and patient satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging. Develop personalized treatment plans based on accurate dental diagnosis and patient needs. Deliver a wide range of general dentistry procedures such as dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, root canal therapy, extractions, and prosthodontics. Conduct specialized treatments including orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, dental implants, oral surgery, and endodontics when applicable. Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Utilize dental software systems Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record keeping. Communicate clearly with patients about diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, and post-treatment care to foster trust and understanding. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws while managing sensitive medical records. Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless patient care using four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and procedures by participating in ongoing education and training. Experience Proven experience working as a General Dentist in a busy dental clinic or healthcare setting. Proficiency with dental practice management software Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical imaging interpretation, and infection control standards. Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), orthodontics (braces or aligners), and oral surgery procedures. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is preferred but not required. Excellent client communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures clearly and empathetically. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare requirements related to medical documentation and patient privacy.
