Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Endodontist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep expertise in root canal therapy and endodontic procedures, complemented by a strong background in general dentistry and patient care. As an Endodontist, you will be responsible for diagnosing complex dental issues, performing precise endodontic treatments, and collaborating with other dental specialists to ensure comprehensive patient health. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a reputable dental practice committed to delivering exceptional care while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Duties Perform root canal treatments, retreatments, and other endodontic procedures with precision and attention to detail. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, to develop accurate diagnoses. Utilize advanced dental imaging techniques to identify issues and plan effective treatment strategies. Maintain comprehensive medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Collaborate with general dentists and specialists such as prosthodontists, orthodontists, and oral surgeons for integrated patient care. Adhere strictly to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures to ensure patient safety. Educate patients on treatment options, procedures, post-treatment care, and oral health maintenance. Manage dental fabrication processes related to endodontic restorations and prosthetic components as needed. Stay current with developments in endodontics, dental technology, and healthcare diagnosis practices through continuous education. Contribute to a positive patient experience by demonstrating excellent client communication skills and professionalism in all interactions. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure to practice dentistry with specialization or certification in Endodontics. Proven experience in performing root canal therapy, endodontic surgeries, and related procedures within a clinical setting. Proficiency with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for electronic health records management. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical imaging interpretation, and infection control standards. Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency during procedures. Excellent diagnostic skills combined with the ability to communicate complex information clearly to patients. Experience working within a dental office environment that emphasizes patient care excellence and team collaboration. Knowledge of pediatric dentistry, dental implants, oral surgery, and other specialties is advantageous but not mandatory.
