Sleep-Focused Dentist Smyle Dental Implant Centers Manhattan, NY Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $1,000 a day 1 day ago Qualifications Dentistry Teamwork Doctoral degree Dental License Doctor of Dentistry Patient interaction Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and motivated dentist with an interest or experience in Dental Sleep Medicine to join our practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping patients improve their sleep, breathing, and overall quality of life through comprehensive, non-invasive dental sleep solutions. This role will focus on evaluating patients for sleep-related breathing disorders and providing appropriate dental treatment, including oral appliance therapy, in collaboration with medical and sleep specialists. Duties Conduct comprehensive dental and sleep-focused evaluations. Identify patients who may be at risk for obstructive sleep apnea and other sleep-related breathing disorders. Review relevant medical history, sleep studies, and diagnostic information. Provide and manage oral appliance therapy when clinically appropriate. Monitor treatment effectiveness and patient progress. Collaborate with sleep physicians, primary care providers, ENTs, and other healthcare professionals. Educate patients about sleep-disordered breathing, oral appliance therapy, and related treatment options. Provide ongoing follow-up and adjustment of oral appliances. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records. Help develop and grow the practice's Dental Sleep Medicine program. Qualifications DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school. Active dental license in New York. Strong interest in Dental Sleep Medicine. Experience with oral appliance therapy preferred. Training or certification in Dental Sleep Medicine preferred. Excellent communication and patient-education skills. Collaborative, patient-centered approach. Commitment to evidence-based clinical care. What We Offer Competitive compensation.
