The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry with a focus on providing exceptional patient care. This role involves diagnosing and treating dental issues, educating patients on oral health, and performing various dental procedures. The Dentist will work collaboratively with a team of dental professionals to ensure the highest standards of care are met. Responsibilities Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth and gums to diagnose dental conditions. Perform a variety of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns. Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient visit. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventative care. Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on advancements in dentistry and incorporate new techniques as appropriate. Manage pediatric patients with a gentle approach, ensuring their comfort during treatments. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state dental license to practice dentistry. Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required. Proficiency in using Open Dental or similar dental software for managing patient records is advantageous. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dentistry and oral health practices. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff. Ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism at all times. Familiarity with prosthodontics and medical documentation practices is a plus.
