Department:
Dental Hygiene Position Summary:
Oregon Tech is accepting applications for Adjunct Instructors for the Dental Hygiene department. The department of Dental Hygiene is recruiting a pool of Adjunct Instructors for possible part-time teaching positions.
Teaching Modality:
Adjunct Instructors of Dental Hygiene will be expected to complete in-person/on-campus instruction and/or related in-person/on-campus clinic or labs.
Location:
The Klamath Falls, OR, campus. Interested candidates should apply online and submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and a list of three references with contact information. In your cover letter, please specify those areas or courses that you are qualified to offer and would be interested in teaching. This pool will be accessed only when an opening or need arises. Your credentials will remain active as long as the pool position is available but no more than two years. After two years, if you are still interested, you must reapply to the most current adjunct pool.
Additional Requirement:
Master's Degree or higher in Dental Hygiene or a directly related field. Experience teaching at the college level. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis at the time of hire; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or other employment-based immigration support.
Preferred Requirements:
Experience using Canvas or a similar Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard). Experience using virtual meeting and collaboration tools for teaching, such as Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Teams.
