Duties Conduct comprehensive examinations of patients to assess their orthodontic needs. Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic findings. Utilize advanced orthodontic techniques, including braces, aligners, and retainers, to correct misalignments. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure effective patient care and treatment coordination. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients and their families about treatment options, procedures, and oral hygiene practices. Ensure adherence to infection control protocols within the dental clinic. Stay updated on the latest advancements in orthodontics and general dentistry practices. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program. Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic for patient management. Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to orthodontics and pediatric dentistry. Familiarity with dental fabrication processes for creating custom appliances. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
