$15-$16
Status:
Full-Time Pueblo Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for a Dietary Aide to help make mealtime a positive and meaningful part of each resident's day. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with food, takes pride in keeping things clean and safe, and wants to make a difference through quality service.
What You'll Do:
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety regulations Help with food production tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, as well as portioning food items Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and sanitized after use Collaborate with the dietary team to ensure timely meal service for residents Support dietary staff in managing inventory and restocking supplies as needed Provide assistance to residents during meal times, ensuring they receive the appropriate meals based on their dietary requirements What You'll Need Strong understanding of kitchen cleanliness and food safety practices Experience in the food industry or culinary field is preferred but not required Knowledge of dietetics or experience working in a nursing home setting is a plus Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating excellent communication skills A genuine desire to help others and contribute positively to the well-being of residents through quality food preparation and service Flexibility to adapt to changing dietary needs and preferences of residents Join our team as a Dietary Aide and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents through your dedication to quality food service!
