Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our weekend team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that residents receive nutritious and appetizing meals that meet their dietary needs. You will work closely with the dietary department to assist in food preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or the food industry who are passionate about providing excellent customer service.

SHIFT:

6a-7p Saturday and Sunday Duties Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences. Ensure all food is handled safely and meets sanitation standards. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and bussing tables. Support the dietary department in meal planning and food production tasks. Communicate effectively with residents to understand their dietary needs and preferences. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service. Follow all safety protocols related to food handling and kitchen operations. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of dietetics. Experience The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas: Assisted living or nursing home environments Hospital dietary services Food production or culinary roles Customer service within the food industry Previous experience as a Dietary Aide is preferred Key skills include strong time management, attention to detail in food preparation, knowledge of food safety practices, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
