Job Overview Deephaven Woods Senior Living is located in the heart of Deephaven, MN just two blocks west of Highway 101 and near Highways 7, 12 and 494 within minutes of Wayzata and Minnetonka. We offer Independent/Assisted Living, Memory Care and Enhanced Assisted Living for a total of 78 units. Managed by Ebenezer, we boast an exceptional team of caregivers who believe in our mission to heal, discover, and educate for longer healthier, more meaningful lives. Shifts are 4pm-7:30pm Week 1 of block: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday Week 2 of block: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday This position is responsible for dining room and to go meal service to residents. Responsibilities Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting: Follows meal serving schedule and procedures. Offers resident meal choices and meets resident's specific dietary needs. Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques. Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures. Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up. Follows proper work flow to stay on task. Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service. Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift. Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction: Welcomes residents and initiates conversation. Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc. Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
