Preferred Care at Absecon is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in the preparation and service of meals to our residents. Responsibilities:
Assist the Cook in the preparation and service of meals Place prepared food on plates/trays in accordance with tray tickets, following established policies and procedures Prepare and deliver food and trays, wash dishes, and clean and sanitize kitchen areas according to health standards Maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance and a positive attitude Assist with meal delivery and collection, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction
Qualifications:
Specialized training in food service is desirable; may be required to successfully complete an approved sanitation and safety course Ability to read, speak, and understand English, follow directions, and complete tasks Ability to follow time schedules for meal preparation and serving General knowledge and understanding of nutrition Ability to read and accurately apply requirements of food tray cards Ability to maintain records and complete reports as required Written and oral communication skills Knowledge of quantity food production and serving techniques, food safety/sanitation requirements, and procedures Benefits for
