Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow dietary restrictions and guidelines provided by the facility.
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed.
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
- Collaborate with culinary team to ensure meals are prepared according to menu specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and address any concerns or special requests.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service or a culinary background is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices.
- Strong time management skills to ensure meals are served on schedule.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with residents and staff members.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
