Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Dietary Aide Pay:
From $16.69 per hour Job description: Cedar Sinai Park is looking for a full-time Dietary Aide!
Primary purpose:
Provide assistance in all food functions as directed and in accordance with established food policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include:
Serving meals to residents in a professional, friendly, and timely manner. Assisting in daily scheduled cleaning duties, dishwashing, or cleanup as needed. Assisting cook in meal prep as needed, in accordance with sanitary regulations, kosher requirements, and established policies and procedures. Required Skills/Abilities Consistent execution of quality customer service. Maintains and demonstrates ethical conduct. Able to effectively communicate with geriatric and/or confused residents and a variety of other people such as family members, visitors, vendors, Private Duty Residents, and staff. Must be able to read, write, speak English. Must be able to possess ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions. Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, the appearance of work areas, and perform regular inspections of food service areas for sanitation, order, safety and proper performance of assigned duties. Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm. Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace. Required Education, Experience, Licenses, and Certifications Must possess, as a minimum, an 8th grade education. Oregon Food Handler's Card required. Love, Honor, Respect.
