Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the dietary department, ensuring efficient and effective operations
  • Develop and implement budgets for the dietary department
  • Supervise and train dietary staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to food service and safety
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet the nutritional needs of patients/residents
  • Conduct patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine appropriate dietary plans
  • Monitor and adjust dietary plans as necessary based on patient progress and needs
  • Provide education and counseling to patients/residents regarding nutrition and dietary requirements
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized meal plans for patients/residents
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in a healthcare setting
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
  • In-depth knowledge of nutrition principles and physiology
  • Experience in budgeting and financial management within a dietary department
  • Ability to assess patient nutritional needs and develop appropriate dietary plans
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
