Full Time - Daylight - York, PA Currently seeking York, PA based dietary workers to fill a full time position at Senior LIFE. Benefits of the Kitchen Assistant/Dietary Aide Monday - Friday, 8a - 430p Competitive Pay Comprehensive Benefits 401k PTO Paid Holidays Off Responsibilities of the Kitchen Assistant/Dietary Aide As part of this exciting expansion, Senior LIFE seeks a hardworking, dedicated and compassionate Member Assistant who, in conjunction with the Kitchen Manager, will prepare meals and assist members with eating and cleanup. As a core member of the kitchen staff, the Member Assistant will have many important responsibilities including: Assisting in meal preparation and service Setting tables, setting up and serving trays, and pouring beverages Assisting during meal times, as needed, and visiting members in dining areas Cleaning up dining, dietary and day rooms before and after meal services Ensuring safe, responsible use of food preparation and service equipment, plus storage after use Sanitizing work spaces following meal preparation Requirements of the Kitchen Assistant Must have a high school diploma or GED Must have one year's experience working specifically in a healthcare facility
