Job Description
Dietary Aides are responsible for preparing beverages, cleaning and washing dishes, assisting with the serving of meals, and providing customer service to our residents, while following food safety requirements. We have a Part Time opening (30 hours/ pay period) available on the PM shift at our Westby location. Every other weekend and holiday required. Responsible for keeping foods safe, using time and temperature control for safety guidelines. Follows resident's diet orders and preferences when serving meals. Cleans and sanitizes food contact surfaces and work area routinely, ensuring the highest degree of sanitation. Washes and sanitizes dishes, tableware, glasses, and other kitchen and dining room equipment/surfaces and ensures they are stored in a sanitary and orderly fashion. May serve meals in the dining room or to resident rooms or at Assisted Living Facility. Experience working in Assisted Living or Long-Term Care Food Service is beneficial, but not required.
