Full-Time Temporary Assignment (40 Hours Per Week)

Medical Edge Recruitment is seeking a Registered Dietitian to support a healthcare facility in Pueblo, Colorado. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside an interdisciplinary healthcare team serving a unique patient population while maintaining a predictable Monday-Friday schedule. Why This Opportunity Stands Out Monday-Friday schedule No weekends Consistent 40-hour workweek Day shift hours Collaborative clinical team environment Opportunity to positively impact patient health outcomes Immediate start opportunity Competitive compensation Key Responsibilities Complete nutrition assessments and reassessments Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans Provide nutrition counseling and patient education Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the treatment team Monitor patient progress and modify nutritional interventions as appropriate Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Support quality improvement and regulatory compliance initiatives Minimum Qualifications Active Registered Dietitian credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) Ability and willingness to work with patients in a secured and/or locked healthcare environment Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Preferred Qualifications Experience in behavioral health, psychiatric, correctional, state hospital, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings Experience with electronic medical record systems Clinical nutrition and patient care planning experience Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Schedule may be adjusted based on operational needs.
