PRN Registered Dietitian Current Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field (Master's preferred). Experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred. Strong clinical judgment. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach. Flexibility to work on an as-needed (PRN) basis, including occasional weekends or holidays. What You'll Do Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients in acute care settings. Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Provide patient and family education on dietary needs, restrictions, and healthy eating habits. Monitor and adjust nutrition interventions based on patient progress and clinical changes. Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Serve as a resource for staff on nutrition-related questions and best practices.
