Where You'll Work Founded in 1941, Dignity Health - Dominican Hospital is a 188-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in Santa Cruz, California. Serving over 80,000 patients annually, the hospital offers a full complement of services including heart care, orthopedics, and a Family Birthing Center. Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Director Nursing Perioperative Services at Dominican Hospital, you will be responsible for Surgical Services including Main OR, Pre-Op, PACU, GI, and SPD. Every day, you will direct the operations, work with Senior Leadership and the Nurse Manager Periop on key initiatives, and work with other front-line leaders to ensure we maintain high standards of patient care in very fast paced environments. You will advise medical staff, other department heads, and administrators in matters related to patient care, clinical best practices, and strategies. You will communicate the organization's goals to the staff as we constantly seek to better serve our community by improving patient experience and delivering exceptional care. To be successful in this role, you will need to be an experienced leader, with a track record of success overseeing Perioperative or Women's services for an acute-care Hospital. To thrive in this role, you must be competent and confident, with excellent communication skills one-on-one and in front of groups. Job Requirements Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (e.g. BSN) or equivalent education and experience and Master's degree in nursing or other-related field (e.g., MSN/MBA/MHA) required. Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience required. Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience required.Required Licensure:
