Job Description

We are currently searching for a Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team of managers dedicated to building an engaging and positive culture at Rose Haven Nursing Home. This exciting opportunity requires an experienced leader with the ability and energy to create a positive atmosphere for our residents and staff. Come join us as a leader as we continue to grow! We are a locally owned and managed organization that puts our residents and staff first! The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care (LTC), preferably to include leadership experience.
The qualified candidate will have:
Current IA Registered Nurse (RN) license and in good standing with the Iowa Board of Nursing Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of state and federal regulations in long-term care Experience with the applicable state
Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare, and Medicaid Responsibilities:
Defines and maintains the standards of nursing practice within the facility Ensuring continued adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations Management and oversight of all nursing staff Providing planning, organization, education, supervision, and evaluation of all services provided in the facility Verifying that department staff is properly trained to perform required duties Ensuring that operation of the Nursing Department remains consistently within budget What we will provide you: Competitive benefit package - health, dental and vision Company - paid short and long term disability, AD&D and life insurance Great vacation package starting day of employment 401K Growth opportunities Solid leadership Engaging and positive culture

$85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
