Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the nursing department, ensuring high standards of resident-centered care. Lead, mentor, and schedule nursing staff to foster a positive, supportive team environment. Maintain strict compliance with state and federal long-term care regulations. Manage nursing budgets, staffing projections, and department resource allocation.

Qualifications & Skills License:

Active Kansas RN license or a Compact Multi-State RN license (Required).

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing, with direct leadership/supervisory experience.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of state/federal LTC regulations, budgeting/forecasting, and proficiency with Microsoft Office & EHR software.

Certifications:

Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (Preferred).
