$92,000 - $108,000 per yearWe are seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join a growing multispecialty ambulatory surgery center in Creve Coeur, MO.This is a great opportunity for an experienced OR Nurse, ASC Nurse, OR Supervisor, or Nurse Manager who is ready to take the next step in nursing leadership. The ADON will work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee daily clinical operations and help ensure safe, efficient, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily nursing operations across Pre-Op, OR, and PACU.
• Support staffing, scheduling, and daily workflow.
• Supervise and support Registered Nurses and Surgical Technicians.
• Assist with staff training, orientation, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable state, OSHA, AAAHC, and Joint Commission standards.
• Coordinate nursing staff, equipment, and supplies for scheduled procedures.
• Work closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, surgical techs, and other clinical staff.
• Promote patient safety and quality care throughout the surgical center.
• Respond to patient and physician concerns and help resolve issues promptly.
• Assist with quality improvement and clinical process development.
• Provide leadership coverage and support when the Director of Nursing is unavailable.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Missouri RN license.
• BSN required.
• 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Minimum 2 years of OR, ASC, or surgical nursing leadership/supervisory experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Strong understanding of perioperative nursing and patient safety.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CNOR certification.
• Previous OR or ambulatory surgery center management experience.
• Experience with AAAHC or Joint Commission accreditation.
• Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
