MUST HAVE DNS EXPERIENCE IN A SKILLED NURSING FACILITY

! ! ! Our facility is actively seeking a Director of Nursing (DNS) to join our dynamic team of professionals. Major job responsibilities for a Director of Nursing include but are not limited to, the following: Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates and directs the Nursing Services Department, Staff Educator/Infection Control Supervise the nursing staff and inform them of new policies and procedures Recruitment, retention, and training of nurses Ensure that the legal procedures, nursing practices, and work standards are met as per facility policies and procedures and all regulatory requirements Collaborate with the healthcare facility management team in leading the clinical team Manage resident data and medical records. Participates in the administration of the health care facility as a full member of the executive team. Participates in the strategic and long range planning of the health care facility. Ensures the ongoing evaluation and innovation of services provided by organized nursing services and the organization, and promotes continuous quality improvement. Requirements of a

Director of Nursing:

Current New York State Registerered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to plan organize and implement policies and procedures Must have minimum 3-5 years' experience in a nursing supervisor level in a health care facility- hospital or nursing facility Must be able to assist in emergency situations

Pay:

$140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
