Inniswood Health & Rehab is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and organized Admissions Director to join our team. This position plays an important role in marketing within the communities we serve and surrounding areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAJOR DUTIES

Interview and screen potential residents and residents' representatives to collect accurate initial data on admissions inquiries. Communicate admission inquiry data in written and verbal form to the nursing department and administration in a timely manner. Oversee admissions, transfers and discharge policies and procedures Act as a liaison between transferring institutions and the facility; establish a good rapport with transferring institutions. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's Degree in Health Care, Business Administration or related field preferred. Previous experience in an Admissions or similar role in a long-term care experience strongly preferred .

LICENSURE, REGISTRATION, COMPLIANCE CHECKS AND/OR CERTIFICATION

Successfully complete &/or comply with all required background checks to include but not limited to: Ohio BCI&I fingerprint analysis, FBI (if applicable) fingerprint analysis, Nurse Aide Registry, HHS/OIG list of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE) & Ohio Medicaid Provider Exclusion and Suspension List.
