Job Description
Duties:
- Oversee and manage the wellness program for our facility, ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents.
- Develop and implement wellness initiatives that promote physical, mental, and emotional health.
- Conduct assessments to identify the individual needs and goals of residents.
- Create personalized wellness plans for each resident, including exercise routines, nutrition plans, and stress management techniques.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper care and treatment for residents.
- Monitor and document the progress of residents, adjusting wellness plans as needed.
- Provide education and support to residents and their families regarding health-related topics.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate wellness activities into daily routines.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in senior care.
Experience:
- Combination of education and/or experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university, with major work in related field.
- At least 2 years of progressively responsible work experience in the long‐term care industry or related field.
- RN license is required.
- Current CPR certification required.
