Liberty Dayton Regional Medical Center (LDRMC) is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and forward-thinking Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to join our executive leadership team. What You'll Do Provide strategic and operational leadership for all nursing services. Promote a culture centered on patient safety, quality, accountability, and service excellence. Mentor, develop, and support nursing leaders and staff. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, CMS, Joint Commission (or other accrediting bodies), and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with executive leadership to achieve organizational goals and strategic initiatives. Monitor nursing quality metrics and implement evidence-based improvements. Lead workforce planning, recruitment, retention, succession planning, and employee engagement efforts. Oversee budgeting, productivity, staffing plans, and resource management. Foster positive physician relationships and interdisciplinary collaboration. Champion continuous improvement and innovation throughout the nursing division. Qualifications Required Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas (or eligible for licensure). Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN). Minimum of five (5) years of progressive nursing leadership experience. Demonstrated experience leading multiple departments and developing high-performing teams. Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, patient safety, and quality improvement. Preferred Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field. Previous executive nursing leadership experience. Critical Access Hospital or rural healthcare experience. CENP, NEA-BC, or other nursing leadership certification.
