Location:
Waldorf, Maryland Setting:
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Schedule:
40 hours per week | Monday-Friday |
No Weekend Rotation Compensation:
$70,000-$90,000 per year

PTA or COTA Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Director of Rehab (ADR) to join a collaborative rehabilitation team in Waldorf, Maryland. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned PTA or COTA who is ready to take on a leadership role while continuing to support high-quality patient care. The ADR will help oversee daily rehabilitation operations, support clinical staff, promote strong patient outcomes, and work closely with the rehabilitation leadership team to ensure an efficient and successful therapy program. This position is not open to new graduates. Why Join This Team? Competitive salary of $70,000-$90,000 Consistent Monday-Friday schedule No weekend rotation Full-time, 40-hour position Leadership opportunity within a supportive SNF rehabilitation environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both patient outcomes and team performance Collaborative multidisciplinary team Professional growth and leadership development opportunities Responsibilities Assist with the daily operations and coordination of the rehabilitation department Support the Director of Rehab with clinical and administrative responsibilities Provide leadership, guidance, and support to therapy staff Help ensure quality patient care and strong clinical outcomes Monitor therapy services and assist with maintaining compliance with applicable standards and regulations Collaborate with nursing, physicians, facility leadership, and other interdisciplinary team members Assist with scheduling, staffing, productivity, and department organization Support staff development, onboarding, and ongoing education Help identify opportunities to improve department efficiency and patient satisfaction Assist with documentation, audits, and other operational requirements Provide hands-on therapy services as needed based on facility and patient needs Qualifications Current PTA or COTA license in Maryland Previous experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility or similar post-acute setting Demonstrated clinical experience with strong organizational and leadership skills Previous supervisory, lead, or rehabilitation management experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team Strong understanding of rehabilitation operations, documentation, and regulatory requirements Ability to balance clinical responsibilities with administrative and leadership duties New graduates are not eligible for this position
