12-HR Shifts Position Summary The Emergency Services Technician Lab is an exciting opportunity on the MultiCare Off Campus Emergency Department team, offering a supportive role assisting practitioners with patient care and executing administrative and clinical procedures. Working in collaboration, you will ensure the best possible health care outcomes and patient experience.Responsibilities:
You will perform direct patient care as directed You will engage your critical thinking skills in maintaining a safe, therapeutic and aesthetic environment. Collaborate with the team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and other members of the health care team Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgroundsRequirements:
High School Diploma or GED Ability to obtain Washington State certification/licensure as a MA-P and NA-R within 120 days of placement in position Washington State C.N.A will substitute for the NA-R; MA-C will substitute for the MA-P, NA-R and C.N.A certification/licensure Experience with phlebotomy and initiation of EKG, Medical Assistant- Phlebotomist Certification preferred Previous experience as a CNA, NA-R, corpsman, EMT or phlebotomist in an emergency department, pre-hospital, or acute care setting within the last three years Current BLS Certification About MultiCare Off Campus Emergency Departments MultiCare's Off-Campus Emergency Departments provide state-of-the-art, neighborhood-focused ER care across Washington.
