systems for charting Any color scrubs permitted Requirements Minimum 2 years of endoscopy technician experience or comparable ancillary healthcare role required Current BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI required GI certification or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)/Certified Operating Room Surgical Technologist (CORST) preferred Certified Medical Assistant (CMA-AAMA), CNA, or Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT) preferred Active driver's license required for consideration License required if applicable No certifications expiring within first 30 days of assignment start Additional Information Prepare procedure rooms and ensure proper setup of equipment, instruments, and supplies for endoscopic procedures Assist procedural teams by anticipating physician needs and supporting patient positioning during procedures Clean, decontaminate, and perform high-level disinfection of endoscopic equipment per manufacturer guidelines and facility policy Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize procedural delays Handle, label, and document specimens and cultures according to policy Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies, removing expired items as needed Maintain accurate department records including quality control documentation for decontamination and equipment maintenance Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months RTO requests must be less than 1 week Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered for the travel rate
