Description Summary:
Provides basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff and ensures patient safety and well-being.
Responsibilities:

CHRISTUS
Competencies:
Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. Answering patient calls and helping patients with eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Feeding patients, measuring and recording their food and liquid intake. Monitoring and documenting patients' temperature, blood pressure, and other vital signs and reporting changes to nurses or doctors. Assisting nurses or doctors with medical procedures and dressing wounds.
Job Requirements:
Education/Skills High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience Experience in a hospital setting preferred. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications BLS required.
