Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate, set up, and maintain CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision metal components. Your expertise in machining techniques will be essential in delivering high-quality products efficiently. The chosen person would be asked to run production when not setting up or tearing down machines. This person reports to the CNC Manager as well as the Operations Manager. Duties Set up and operate CNC machining equipment, including CNC lathes and milling machines, ensuring precise execution of production orders. Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, and other measurement tools for quality control purposes. Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards and quality inspection techniques. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards and lean manufacturing principles. Skills Familiarity with CNC lathes and CNC milling machines. Familiarity with machines with FANUC controls. Ability to perform precise measurements using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, dial indicators, and other measurement instruments for quality assurance. Skilled in machine setup, tooling selection, fixture installation, and troubleshooting CNC equipment. Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, feeds, speeds, and tolerances necessary for accurate machining operations. Join our team if you're passionate about precision manufacturing!
