Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Exercise Physiologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role involves developing and implementing individualized rehabilitation programs aimed at improving patients' physical function, mobility, and overall well-being. The Exercise Physiologist will work closely with patients recovering from injury, illness, or managing chronic conditions, ensuring safe and effective exercise interventions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in physiology, rehabilitation medicine, and patient care, contributing to our mission of enhancing recovery outcomes through evidence-based practices. Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Requirements:
BLS, ACLS, ACSM-CEP
(must have in hand) Minimum of one year experience Experience with Cardiac Stress Testing Responsibilities Assess patients' physical capabilities, medical history, and rehabilitation needs through comprehensive evaluations. Design personalized exercise programs tailored to individual patient goals, medical conditions, and functional levels. Supervise and guide patients during exercise sessions, ensuring proper technique and safety. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting programs as necessary to optimize recovery. Collaborate with physiotherapists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans. Educate patients on injury prevention, lifestyle modifications, and self-management strategies. Ensure compliance with rehabilitation regulations and maintain accurate documentation of patient progress. Demonstrate proficiency in manual handling techniques and heavy lifting when assisting patients. Work with individuals with disabilities or visual impairments to adapt exercises accordingly. Lead clinical team meetings to discuss patient cases and share best practices in rehabilitation services management. Experience Proven experience in rehabilitation medicine or related fields such as physiotherapy or skilled nursing facilities. Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and rehabilitation regulations. Prior experience working within long-term care or rehabilitation centers is highly desirable. Strong understanding of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and basic life support protocols. Experience managing patient care for individuals with complex needs or disabilities. Familiarity with acute care settings and the specific requirements for exercise interventions in such environments. Hands-on experience with manual handling techniques and heavy lifting tasks associated with patient mobility assistance. Knowledge of working with individuals who have visual impairments or other special needs enhances the ability to deliver inclusive care. Leadership skills in clinical team settings to foster collaborative rehabilitation efforts.
