Job Description
Mills Wellness Group is a growing, values-driven group practice specializing in child and family mental health. As we expand our in-person services in Davis, we are seeking a clinician who is passionate about working with children and families and excited to be part of building something meaningful. This role is ideal for a therapist who enjoys in-person work, values autonomy in their clinical approach, and is motivated to build and maintain a consistent caseload. About the Role This position focuses primarily on in-person therapy with 4+ children, adolescents, and families . You'll have the opportunity to create a warm, engaging therapeutic space and build strong, ongoing relationships with clients. We are looking for someone who not only enjoys working with kids, but understands how to engage families, support progress over time, and take ownership of their caseload. As we expand in the area, we are also looking for a licensed clinician who is interested in supervising associate level clinicians. We are an insurance based practice, and work primarily with Kaiser. Credentialing (if not already credentialed) will take 3 months. Minimum 20 weekly billable hours (part-time) 25 weekly billable hours (full-time) What You'll Do Provide in-person therapy to children, adolescents, and families Build and maintain a consistent caseload over time Engage caregivers as part of the treatment process Create developmentally appropriate, engaging sessions for children Complete documentation in a timely and consistent manner Collaborate with our team as needed while working independently day-to-day Who You Are Passionate about working with children and families Enjoys in-person therapy and creating engaging, child-centered sessions Comfortable working independently and managing your own caseload Motivated to grow your caseload and maintain client engagement Strong in communication with both children and caregivers Values being part of a practice you can feel proud of Qualifications Only Licensed Therapist ( LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) Experience working with children, adolescents, or families Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a strong plus, but not required Minimum 2 years licensed Supervision training completed 2-8pm availability as that is when kids are out of school Compensation & Benefits W-2 position Per-session compensation model (paid for sessions completed) Health stipend provided for full time eligible clinicians (in place of employer-sponsored health insurance) Flexible scheduling with autonomy in your work Retirement plan when eligible Remote stipend monthly CE stipend for full time eligible clinicians 40 hours sick leave additional 32 PTO hours for full-time eligible We are building a practice centered on: High-quality, client-centered care Strong clinician autonomy with clear expectations A supportive, growth-oriented environment Meaningful work with families and children We are looking for clinicians who want to grow with us and be part of something intentional—not just fill a role.
