Description Position Overview Empowerment Wellness and Counseling Center is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our esteemed telehealth team in Elk Grove, California. Work Environment This position will be conducted wholly through a telehealth platform, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while having access to a robust support system. Given the remote nature of this role, you will utilize cutting-edge technology to connect with clients and deliver therapeutic interventions effectively. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical assessments using a variety of evidence-based practices to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Implement a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other techniques, tailoring your approach to each client's unique situation. Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and confidential clinical records, adhering to HIPAA and state regulatory standards to protect client privacy. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for each patient. Participate in weekly case consultations and peer review meetings, contributing to the collective expertise of our mental health professionals and enhancing service quality. Engage and educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment strategies, and available community resources, fostering a supportive environment for recovery. Remain active in professional development by staying informed about advancements in the mental health sector to benefit your clinical practice and client outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus Our client base is incredibly diverse, ranging from adolescents to adults, each presenting unique challenges and experiences. You will work closely with individuals facing various mental health concerns, helping them navigate their paths to emotional healing and resilience. The remote setting allows you to connect with clients from different geographic areas, broadening your impact and understanding of various cultural backgrounds. Qualifications A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Active licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California is essential. Strong application of solution-focused psychotherapy interventions tailored to each client, demonstrating adaptability and creativity in treatment approaches. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport and trust with clients, ensuring effective therapeutic outcomes. Proficient problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to navigate complex client cases. A collaborative mindset that values input from teammates, regardless of their position, to create an enriching working environment. Preferred Experience Experience in providing remote mental health counseling, utilizing telehealth technology effectively to engage clients. Knowledge of diverse therapeutic practices and a willingness to adapt to new methodologies as necessary to improve client care. Previous experience with documentation and compliance, particularly in telehealth settings. Compensation and Benefits A competitive salary ranging from
USD 115,000
