COMPANY OVERVIEW
New Day Recovery Centers is an outpatient facility that provides individual counseling and court-ordered mandated groups. Our mission is to provide a quality array of expert counseling services by our professional staff of Intern and Licensed Professional Counselors and Board-Certified Psychiatrists. Our programs assist individuals, families, and children to realize a more fulfilling way of life.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
We currently are contracted through Department of Children and Family Services, Victims of Crime, IEHP and many other insurance carriers. Our counseling staff mission exercises independent judgment to counsel clients and their families through individual and group treatment methods. The clinical supervisior offers preperation for the state exam. JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking an Associate Marriage Family Therapist, who is looking to accumulate hours the responsibilities are as follows: Conducting an initial meeting with program participants to provide them with information about the Treatment program. Completes all required documentation in a timely manner for each assigned client and maintains a comprehensive set of treatment records, which includes, intake assessment, therapy notes and discharge services. Provides Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for individual, group and/or family counseling based on the needs of the client's treatment plan. Monitoring participants' progress/lack of progress in the program. Adheres to Company policy in maintaining client's files and HIPAA confidentiality of client's treatment plan. Maintains only appropriate interpersonal communication with other staff members, clients, and clinicians. Provide crisis intervention, case management, when needed. Collaborate with other providers (i.e., psychiatrists, primary care providers, etc.), as needed. Responsible to maintain proper documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy from an accredited college or university. Registered as an associate with the California State Board of Behavioral Sciences. Ability to clearly summarize pertinent clinical information via written correspondence and medical records documentation.
Basic computer skills:
Microsoft Office & running group and/or individual sessions on Zoom (if applicable).
