Overview Join our dedicated team as an Autism Therapist and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disabilities. In this vital role, you will deliver evidence-based behavioral interventions, support skill development, and promote positive behavior management within home-based or clinical settings. Your energetic approach and compassionate attitude will empower children to reach their full potential while collaborating closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to client progress through innovative Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and personalized care plans. Duties Implement individualized ABA therapy protocols designed to improve communication, social skills, daily living activities, and behavior management. Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), fostering independence and confidence. Collect and analyze behavioral data meticulously to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Deliver direct behavioral therapy sessions in home or clinical environments, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and best practices. Maintain accurate medical documentation, client records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to each child's needs. Support clients' integration into school settings by providing targeted interventions aligned with educational goals. Requirements Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorders. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management strategies, and implementing ABA therapy protocols. Strong skills in data collection, medical documentation, and maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines. Experience assisting with ADLs and supporting clients' daily routines in home or school environments. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and behavioral health principles. Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, educators, and healthcare providers. Professional commitment to ethical standards outlined in the Behavior Analyst Certification Board's (BACB) Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts. Pay:
$19.00 - $25.00 per hour
