Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our behavioral health team. We currently are looking for a Mental Health Therapist in all of our locations which include Munfordville, Leitchfield and Radcliff. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Your expertise will help individuals navigate emotional challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve overall well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through direct patient care, innovative therapy techniques, and collaborative case management. The ideal candidate will be energetic, motivated, and committed to fostering positive mental health outcomes in a supportive environment. Duties Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine patient needs and treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing evidence-based practices such as psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to support patients experiencing acute mental health episodes or emergencies. Facilitate specialized counseling services including grief counseling, addiction counseling, PTSD care, gender issues counseling, and behavioral therapy for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations while ensuring timely data collection and medical record updates. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans, coordinate case management efforts, and monitor patient progress through ongoing assessments. Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance therapeutic techniques and contribute to the advancement of behavioral health practices.
